Get the most out of your cargo bike this fall

Get the most out of your cargo bike this fall
Autumn

The first leaves are falling from the trees, so get out your gloves and scarves ! The cargo bike is also your mainstay in the autumn. In this blog we provide you with a number of tips for getting the most out of this season.

1. Check your cargo bike lighting

Now that it's getting darker quicker in the evenings, it is extra important that you are easy to see when you're riding. Replace the lighting batteries when necessary so that you are also easy to see in the dark.

2. Store your batteries inside

Are you done riding your cargo bike? Don't forget to bring the battery inside to charge it. A battery that's too cold can cause it to supply 15 to 25 percent less power. Also, make sure you don't leave the battery unattended on the charger.

3. Store your bike in a dry place

So that your cargo bike parts can last for as long as possible, we recommend that you store your Babboe cargo bike in a dry place. Don't have a canopy or shed under/in which you can park your cargo bike? Not to worry: with a box cover or cargo bike cover, your bike also stays dry outside! Check them out here.

4. Check your tire pressure

Do your tires have adequate pressure? For an optimal grip while riding, we recommend pumping the tiresto 3.5 bar.

5. Protect your cargo bike

In the fall, your kids can also enjoy riding in the cargo bike, and stay dry too. Still haven't bought a rain tent for your Babboe? Then order it now via the online shop.

6. Clean your cargo bike regularly

After a rain shower or a bike ride through the forest, it is important to keep your cargo bike's parts clean. This increases the lifespan of your cargo bike and its parts. In this video, our mechanic Christian explains how you can easily clean your cargo bike at home.

7. Have your cargo bike checked out

By having your cargo bike serviced regularly, it will last even longer. So have a look at cargo bikes at a Babboe dealer in your area. You'll find all Babboe sales outlets via this link.
